Residential HVAC Service Technician

Brothers Heating, Cooling, Plumbing is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems in single-family homes and light commercial sites. You'll perform troubleshooting, tune-ups, component replacements, and start-ups on furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and related controls. Responsibilities include responding to service calls, communicating findings and options to customers, completing accurate documentation, and following safety and code requirements. You'll work closely with a team that values craftsmanship, reliability, and customer trust, with opportunities to grow your technical skills and build a long-term trades career.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential and light commercial HVAC service calls
• Diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
• Perform system inspections, tune-ups, and preventative maintenance
• Install and replace HVAC components and accessories per code
• Use meters and gauges to troubleshoot electrical and refrigerant issues
• Communicate repair findings, options, and pricing to customers
• Complete work orders, service records, and required documentation
• Follow safety procedures and applicable HVAC codes and regulations
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in good condition
• Coordinate with dispatch and team members to meet service schedules
