ARS/Rescue Rooter seeks an HVAC Install Lead to run residential and light commercial replacement and retrofit projects. You'll supervise a small crew, remove and install HVAC systems, complete ductwork, electrical, and refrigerant connections, and commission equipment to company and code standards. This role requires strong technical skills, a safety-first mindset, and clear customer communication. Responsibilities

  • Lead residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects from teardown to startup
  • Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and ductwork to code and manufacturer specs
  • Perform electrical and refrigerant connections, pressure testing, evacuation, and system charging
  • Conduct startup, testing, and commissioning to ensure system performance and customer comfort
  • Coach and direct install helpers, ensuring productivity, quality workmanship, and safe practices
  • Communicate professionally with customers, explaining work performed and system operation
  • Complete job documentation, forms, and change orders accurately and on time
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and materials, ensuring organized, safe, and compliant jobsites
  • Follow ARS/Rescue Rooter safety policies and all applicable codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with service and sales teams to ensure smooth job scheduling and customer satisfaction
