HVAC Service Tech

R.S. Andrews of Tidewater Heating, Cooling is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join our HVAC Wholesale department. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on a wide range of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls, accurately identify issues, and propose effective solutions.
• Install, start up, and commission replacement equipment and components as needed.
• Perform seasonal tune-ups, inspections, and preventive maintenance to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Explain findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers, building trust and satisfaction.
• Document all work performed, parts used, and test results in company systems or service software.
• Adhere to company and industry safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all job sites.
• Collaborate with dispatch and office staff to manage daily schedules and ensure timely arrival to appointments.
