R.S. Andrews of Tidewater Heating, Cooling is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join our HVAC Wholesale department. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on a wide range of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls, accurately identify issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Install, start up, and commission replacement equipment and components as needed.
- Perform seasonal tune-ups, inspections, and preventive maintenance to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Explain findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers, building trust and satisfaction.
- Document all work performed, parts used, and test results in company systems or service software.
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Collaborate with dispatch and office staff to manage daily schedules and ensure timely arrival to appointments.

Required Skills
- HVAC system diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Installation and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics
- Refrigeration cycle knowledge
- Brazing, soldering, and basic piping
- Use of HVAC electrical and mechanical testing tools (multimeters, gauges, combustion analyzers)
