Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver

Mid-American Specialized Transport is hiring a Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to haul specialized and heavy-haul freight for industrial customers. In this safety-first, schedule-driven role, you'll run dedicated lanes, secure oversize or overweight loads, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and comply with all DOT and company regulations. Work closely with dispatch and logistics to ensure on-time delivery, accurate documentation, and professional customer service. Gain experience with complex routing, specialized equipment, and strict safety protocols while building a long-term driving career.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A commercial vehicle on dedicated lanes hauling specialized or heavy-haul freight
• Secure oversize or overweight loads using proper tie-down and safety procedures
• Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and hours-of-service rules
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
• Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and load-related documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers and onsite personnel
• Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance needs promptly
• Follow designated routes and adjust to weather, traffic, and road restrictions
• Uphold company safety culture and participate in required training
