Dedicated Truck Driver

Mid-American Specialized Transport seeks a Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to haul specialized and heavy-haul freight for industrial and commercial clients. In this safety-first, schedule-driven role, you'll operate late-model equipment, manage securement of oversize and overweight loads, and follow strict DOT and company regulations. Responsibilities include route planning, accurate logkeeping, and professional customer interaction at pickup and delivery sites. You'll work closely with dispatch and logistics staff to meet time-sensitive schedules while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and equipment care.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailer equipment for specialized and heavy-haul freight
• Secure oversize and overweight loads according to DOT and company standards
• Plan and follow routes to meet time-sensitive delivery schedules
• Maintain accurate logs, inspections, and compliance documentation
• Communicate regularly with dispatch and logistics staff
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic equipment care
• Follow all DOT, safety, and company operating procedures
• Provide professional customer service at pickup and delivery sites
