Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver

Mid-American Specialized Transport is seeking a safety-focused Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to haul specialized and heavy-haul freight for industrial customers. In this dedicated role, you'll run consistent lanes with planned schedules, hauling oversize or overweight loads while complying with all DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities include conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, securing and tarping complex loads, completing accurate logs and paperwork, and maintaining professional communication with dispatch and customers. This position offers the opportunity to build expertise in heavy-haul operations and serve key, time-sensitive accounts.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer hauling specialized and heavy-haul freight on dedicated routes
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Secure, chain, and tarp oversize and overweight loads to company standards
• Follow all safety, routing, and load-handling procedures for specialized freight
• Maintain up-to-date driver logs, trip paperwork, and electronic records
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and yard staff
• Adhere to schedules and delivery windows for time-sensitive industrial freight
• Inspect and report equipment defects or maintenance needs promptly
• Comply with federal, state, and local transportation regulations
• Represent the company with professional conduct at customer sites and on the road
