Dedicated Truck Driver

Mid-American Specialized Transport is seeking a safety-focused Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to haul specialized and heavy-haul freight for industrial and commercial clients. In this dedicated role, you'll run consistent routes, manage oversize/overweight loads, and follow strict DOT and company safety protocols. Responsibilities include securement and inspection of complex loads, accurate logkeeping, and on-time delivery. Work closely with dispatch and logistics staff to plan routes, comply with regulations, and support a schedule-driven, team-oriented environment with opportunities to build advanced heavy-haul experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer on dedicated routes hauling specialized and heavy-haul freight
• Ensure full compliance with DOT, company, and safety regulations at all times
• Secure, inspect, and monitor oversize and overweight loads using proper equipment and techniques
• Perform thorough pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, trip reports, and required documentation
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics staff for routing, scheduling, and load planning
• Adhere to time-sensitive delivery schedules while managing hours-of-service limits
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members during pickups and deliveries
• Follow routing requirements for oversize permits and restricted roads
• Assist with basic equipment care, cleanliness, and reporting maintenance needs
