HVAC Lead Installer

Blue Dot Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to run new system installation projects in residential and light commercial settings. In this hands-on role, you'll lead a small crew installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, thermostats, and related components. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, planning jobs, staging materials, ensuring code compliance, and completing quality start-up and testing. You'll train helpers, model safe work practices, and communicate clearly with customers. Responsibilities

• Lead installation of new residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and manufacturer specifications
• Lay out and install ductwork, piping, and control wiring
• Set, connect, and start up furnaces, AC units, and heat pumps
• Perform system testing, balancing, and quality checks
• Ensure all work meets code, safety, and company standards
• Train and mentor installation helpers and apprentices
• Communicate with customers about scope, progress, and use of systems
• Complete job documentation, forms, and material tracking
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and a safe, organized job site
