Driver

Via Transportation is hiring safe, customer-focused Drivers in Seattle to power our tech-enabled public mobility services. In this role, you'll operate company vehicles to transport riders on dynamic routes, follow in-app navigation, and ensure on-time, reliable trips across the city. You'll provide professional, friendly service; assist riders with boarding as needed; and complete basic vehicle safety checks, cleanliness, and reporting. Drivers collaborate with dispatch and support teams, follow all traffic and safety regulations, and use Via's driver app and tools to deliver efficient, data-driven transit experiences for the community.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport riders on assigned and dynamic routes
• Follow in-app navigation and dispatch instructions to ensure timely, efficient trips
• Provide professional, courteous customer service and assist riders with boarding as needed
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete basic safety checks
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT rules, and company safety policies
• Accurately use Via's driver app and on-board technology for routing and trip updates
• Communicate with dispatch and support teams to resolve route or rider issues
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and other documentation
• Represent Via Transportation's mission and values while interacting with the public
