CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver

Leavitts is hiring CDL A Flatbed Truck Drivers to haul lumber, building materials, and other specialized flatbed freight across the western U.S. Based out of Springfield and Medford, you'll operate late model tractors with flatbed and curtain side trailers. Responsibilities include safe loading, securing, and tarping, following FMCSA regulations, and maintaining accurate logs and paperwork. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor with flatbed and curtain-side trailers across the western U.

• Secure, tarp, and inspect lumber and building materials to flatbed safety standards.
• Comply with FMCSA regulations, company safety policies, and DOT requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, trip reports, and load documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff.
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules while managing hours-of-service limits.
• Protect freight and equipment while representing Leavitts with professionalism.
