CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver

Leavitts is seeking a safe, professional CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver to haul lumber, building products, and other flatbed freight across the western U.S. From our Springfield, OR headquarters and Medford operations, you'll run regional and long haul routes using modern flatbed and curtain side equipment. Responsibilities include safe loading, securing, and unloading freight; complying with DOT and company safety standards; and maintaining accurate logs and inspections. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor trailer flatbed and curtain side equipment on regional and long haul routes in the western U.

• Secure, tarp, and protect lumber, building materials, and other flatbed freight according to company and DOT standards.
• Conduct pre trip, en route, and post trip inspections; report and document maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate logbooks, electronic logging device (ELD) records, and required shipment documentation.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, hours of service rules, and Leavitts safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff to ensure on time pickups and deliveries.
• Follow route plans while adapting safely to weather, traffic, and road conditions.
• Protect company equipment and freight, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or loss.
• Represent Leavitts with professionalism and strong customer service at shippers and receivers.
• Participate in ongoing safety meetings, training, and performance reviews to support continuous improvement.
