Residential Door Installer

DH Pace is seeking a Residential Door Installer to join our construction team. In this hands-on role, you will install, replace, and service residential garage and entry doors, openers, and related hardware. Responsibilities include reading work orders and basic drawings, measuring and preparing openings, safely operating power tools and ladders, and ensuring doors operate smoothly and meet safety standards. You will interact with homeowners, explain work performed, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Install and replace residential garage and entry doors, openers, and hardware
• Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and basic drawings
• Prepare openings, frame, and align doors to ensure proper operation
• Use hand and power tools, ladders, and lifting equipment safely
• Perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor repairs on doors and openers
• Verify installations meet safety, quality, and manufacturer standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
• Communicate with homeowners to explain scope of work and maintenance needs
• Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project schedules
