Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers in team configuration for regional and long-haul routes
• Transport dry van and refrigerated freight with on-time pickup and delivery
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report defects
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, bills of lading, and trip paperwork
• Comply with DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, and company safety policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support staff
• Secure and handle freight according to company and customer requirements
• Manage hours-of-service to maximize safety and productivity
• Care for assigned equipment, ensuring cleanliness and basic maintenance checks
• Participate in ongoing safety meetings and training programs
