CDL A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on a dedicated route for assigned customers
• Complete safe, on-time pickups and deliveries according to route plans
• Perform accurate pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Comply with DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and company safety policies
• Use on-board technology and electronic logs for communication and documentation
• Secure freight and verify load documentation and condition
• Report mechanical issues, delays, and incidents promptly to dispatch
• Maintain clean, professional equipment and a strong safety record
• Provide courteous, professional service at customer locations
• Collaborate with dispatch and fleet operations to optimize routes and schedules
