Regional CDL A Truck Driver

Loudon County Trucking seeks a Regional CDL A Truck Driver to haul freight across assigned regional routes. In this role, you'll operate late model tractors and dry van or flatbed trailers, ensuring safe, efficient, and on time deliveries. Responsibilities include pre and post trip inspections, adhering to DOT and company safety policies, accurate logkeeping with ELD systems, and secure cargo handling. You'll coordinate closely with dispatch, provide professional customer service at shippers and receivers, and maintain clean, road ready equipment. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor trailer on regional routes to deliver freight safely and on time
• Perform thorough pre and post trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
• Comply with DOT regulations and all company safety and hours of service policies
• Use ELD and required documentation to maintain accurate logs and trip records
• Secure, tarp, and/or strap freight as needed to prevent damage in transit
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and load status
• Provide professional customer service at shippers, receivers, and partner facilities
• Maintain clean, road ready equipment and cab at all times
• Follow route plans and optimize driving for fuel efficiency and safety
• Assist with basic incident reporting and documentation when required
