Local CDL-A Truck Driver

Loudon County Trucking is hiring Local CDL A Truck Drivers to haul regional freight with daily or frequent home time. In this role, you'll safely operate late model tractors, complete local and short haul routes, and ensure on time pickups and deliveries for our customers. You'll perform pre and post trip inspections, manage logs and documentation, and follow DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor trailer on local and regional routes
• Perform pre and post trip inspections and routine equipment checks
• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight on time to customer locations
• Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and delivery documentation
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and load status
• Secure loads properly and verify freight counts and condition
• Provide courteous, professional customer service at shipper and receiver sites
• Report equipment issues or incidents promptly for resolution
• Follow company policies for fuel, routing, and hours of service management
