CDL A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer for regional and over-the-road freight hauls
• Perform accurate pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and policies
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of customer freight
• Maintain accurate logs, electronic logs, and required trip documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and maintenance teams
• Secure and handle freight according to company and shipper requirements
• Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance
• Practice fuel-efficient driving and proper route planning
• Represent the company professionally with customers and the public
