Event Security

As an Event Security team member with BEST Crowd Management at Ole Miss, you'll help create a safe, positive experience for fans and guests at games, concerts, and special events. In this on-site role, you'll monitor access points, support bag checks, guide crowd flow, and respond to incidents according to clearly defined procedures. You'll deliver professional, courteous guest service while enforcing venue policies and assisting in emergencies. Working within a safety-focused, team-oriented culture, you'll receive training in security and crowd management with opportunities to grow across venues in the GardaWorld network.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry points, ticket areas, and crowd flow at events
• Conduct bag checks and screening per venue protocols
• Provide directions and assistance to guests with a customer-service focus
• Enforce venue policies and respond calmly to incidents or emergencies
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team via radio or in person
• Document and report safety or security issues promptly
• Support evacuation or emergency procedures as directed
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and game days
