Facilities Manager

Mechanical Facilities Manager - BJ's Wholesale Club BJ's Wholesale Club seeks a Mechanical Facilities Manager to lead facilities, maintenance, and asset management across retail locations. You will oversee mechanical, HVAC, and building systems, drive preventive maintenance, manage vendors, and ensure safe, efficient operations that support our member-focused mission. Partnering with operations and corporate teams, you'll optimize equipment performance, control costs, and support capital projects. Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical, HVAC, and building systems for assigned retail clubs to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs using CMMS and asset management tools.
• Manage vendor and contractor performance, service contracts, and project timelines.
• Monitor energy use and implement efficiency improvements aligned with company standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements across facilities.
• Develop and manage facilities budgets, forecasts, and capital improvement plans.
• Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, and store remodels with operations teams.
• Train and coach maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with operations and merchandising leaders to minimize downtime and support business goals.
• Analyze maintenance data and KPIs to drive process improvements and cost savings.
