Facilities Manager

Mechanical Facilities Manager - BJ's Wholesale Club. Lead mechanical and facilities operations for high-volume wholesale/retail clubs. Oversee HVAC, refrigeration, material handling and building systems to ensure safety, uptime, and energy efficiency. Manage preventive and corrective maintenance, contractors, capital projects, and asset lifecycle plans. Develop maintenance schedules, SOPs, and compliance programs for OSHA and local codes. Analyze equipment performance and reliability, optimize costs, and support store operations. Mentor technicians, promote a member-focused, team-oriented culture, and drive continuous improvement across facilities and maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems across assigned clubs
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and local building codes
• Plan and execute facilities and capital improvement projects
• Manage maintenance budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives
• Supervise and develop in-house technicians and coordinate contractors
• Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and reliability metrics
• Implement and maintain CMMS for work orders and asset tracking
• Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives in facilities
• Partner with operations leaders to support safe, reliable club environments
