Assistant Produce Manager

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring an Assistant Produce Manager to support daily operations of our fresh produce department. You'll help lead a team, ensure attractive, well-stocked displays, and maintain strict quality, rotation, and food-safety standards. Partner with the Produce Manager on ordering, inventory, shrink control, and sales goals while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service on fresh, natural, and organic items. Ideal candidates bring grocery or produce experience, strong organization, and a passion for healthy living, teamwork, and customer care in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Produce Manager with daily department operations and planning
• Maintain high standards for produce freshness, rotation, and food safety
• Set and maintain attractive, well-stocked produce displays
• Support ordering, inventory counts, and shrink control processes
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service on fresh and organic items
• Train, guide, and support produce team members during shifts
• Monitor sales trends and help execute promotions and merchandising plans
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area that meets company standards
• Collaborate with store leadership to meet sales and profitability goals
