Assistant Bakery Manager

As an Assistant Bakery Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, you'll support daily bakery operations in a fresh, natural, and organic-focused environment. You'll help lead production, ensure product quality and merchandising, and uphold strict food safety standards. Partner with the Bakery Manager to train and schedule team members, manage inventory, and reduce waste. You'll engage customers with friendly, knowledgeable service while promoting Sprouts' healthy, community-centered culture and driving sales through appealing displays and seasonal offerings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager with daily operations, production planning, and quality control
• Supervise, train, and schedule bakery team members to meet service and productivity goals
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and Sprouts quality standards
• Oversee merchandising, product presentation, and freshness in the bakery department
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and reduce shrink through accurate forecasting
• Engage customers with friendly service, product knowledge, and sampling
• Support sales goals through suggestive selling, promotions, and seasonal offerings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for team and customers
