Lead Food Services Team Member

Pilot Flying J is seeking a Lead Food Services Team Member to oversee daily food operations in our busy travel center. You will guide team members in preparing and serving fresh, safe, and high-quality food while delivering welcoming, fast service to professional drivers and travelers. Responsibilities include training staff, monitoring food safety and cleanliness, handling cash and inventory, and supporting shift leadership. Responsibilities

• Lead and support food service team members during shifts
• Prepare, cook, and serve food to company quality standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, serving, and dining areas
• Operate POS systems, handle cash, and follow cash-control procedures
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and waste control
• Train and coach new and existing team members on procedures and hospitality standards
• Provide friendly, efficient service to all guests, resolving issues promptly
• Collaborate with shift leaders and managers to meet sales and service goals
• Follow all safety policies and support a people-first, inclusive culture
