Deli Baker

Pilot Flying J is seeking a Deli Baker to prepare fresh baked goods and deli items for travelers and professional drivers in our busy travel center. In this fast-paced, guest-focused role, you'll bake breads, pastries, and pizzas, prep and assemble deli sandwiches, follow food safety and quality standards, and keep work areas clean and stocked. You'll work as part of a supportive, people-first team focused on safety, hospitality, and integrity. Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pastries, pizzas, and other items according to company recipes and standards
• Prepare, assemble, and portion deli sandwiches and hot food items
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures
• Operate ovens, slicers, and other deli/bakery equipment safely
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked workstations and display cases
• Monitor product freshness, rotate stock, and minimize waste
• Greet guests, take orders, and deliver friendly, efficient service
• Handle cash and operate POS system accurately
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and rush-hour demands
• Follow company safety guidelines and contribute to a positive, people-first culture
