Licensed Veterinary Technician

Acredale Animal Hospital (Kempsville) in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate, community-focused team. In this role, you'll support veterinarians in providing high-quality medical, surgical, dental, and preventive care for dogs, cats, and small pets. Responsibilities include patient triage, anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings, lab work, imaging, pharmacy support, and client education. You'll help ensure excellent patient comfort and safety while communicating clearly with pet owners. Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures
• Perform patient triage and obtain histories and vitals
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
• Perform dental cleanings, radiographs, and oral charting
• Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory testing
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure quality diagnostics
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Provide client education on pet care, medications, and prevention
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Support hospital cleanliness, organization, and infection control
