Registered Veterinary Technician

All Creatures Care Cottage in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician to support doctors in providing high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs, cats, and small animals. Responsibilities include patient triage, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis, radiology, lab work, medication administration, sample collection, maintaining accurate medical records, and assisting in client education. Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures for small animals
• Perform patient triage, obtain histories, and record vital signs
• Induce and monitor anesthesia and provide surgical support
• Perform dental cleanings, polishing, and dental radiographs
• Conduct laboratory tests, collect samples, and interpret basic results
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed
• Take and position diagnostic radiographs safely and accurately
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and charts
• Educate clients on treatment plans, preventive care, and home care instructions
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked treatment, surgery, and exam areas
