Registered Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures
• Perform diagnostics including lab tests, imaging support, and sample collection
• Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients, ensuring safety and comfort
• Provide nursing care, administer medications, and perform dentistry tasks
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment notes
• Educate clients on preventive care, medications, and post-treatment instructions
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment, exam, and surgery areas
• Handle animals safely and compassionately during exams and procedures
• Operate and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments
