Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician

Atlasvet is seeking a Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician to support high-quality care for dogs and cats in our community-focused Washington, DC hospital. In this role, you'll lead and mentor technicians, assist veterinarians with exams, anesthesia, surgery, and dental procedures, and perform diagnostics, lab work, and patient treatments. You'll educate clients on preventive care, medications, and post-op instructions while ensuring accurate medical records and a smooth clinical workflow. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor veterinary technicians and assistants
• Assist veterinarians with exams, anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry
• Perform diagnostics, lab work, and administer treatments and medications
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment notes
