Class A Delivery Driver
Cheney Brothers & Affiliates is seeking a safety-focused Class A Delivery Driver to join our family-owned foodservice distribution team. In this full-time role, you will safely operate Class A tractors and reefers to deliver foodservice products to restaurants, hotels, and institutions across assigned routes. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, accurate loading and unloading with a hand truck or pallet jack, verifying orders and invoices, managing delivery paperwork, and providing friendly, reliable customer service. You'll work closely with dispatch and warehouse teams, follow DOT and company safety standards, and represent our commitment to service, accountability, and long-term customer relationships. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers and reefers on assigned delivery routes
- Perform DOT-compliant pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload products using hand truck or pallet jack
- Verify orders, invoices, and product accuracy at each stop
- Obtain customer signatures and manage delivery paperwork
- Provide professional, customer-focused service at all delivery locations
- Communicate with dispatch and warehouse regarding route issues or delays
- Follow all DOT, company, and food safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized truck and secure load at all times
- Report vehicle defects, incidents, and safety concerns promptly
