Commercial Driver

Waste Connections is hiring a Commercial Driver to safely operate heavy trucks for waste collection and transport. In this role, you'll run assigned routes, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure timely, courteous service to residential and commercial customers. You'll follow all DOT and company safety standards, handle waste containers and equipment, and report maintenance issues promptly. Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial refuse and recycling trucks on assigned routes
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Collect, load, and transport waste and recyclables from residential and commercial customers
• Follow all DOT, company, and local safety and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate driver logs and required documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and route supervisors
• Report mechanical issues, route hazards, and incidents promptly
• Operate hydraulic and lifting equipment safely to handle containers
• Follow assigned route schedules and adjust to route changes as needed
• Support a safety-focused, team-oriented work environment
