Route Driver

Sodexo is seeking a dependable Route Driver to support its food service and facilities clients by safely transporting food, supplies, and equipment between production sites and customer locations. In this role, you will follow established routes and schedules, load and unload products, verify orders, and maintain accurate delivery records. You will perform basic vehicle inspections, adhere to DOT and Sodexo safety standards, and provide courteous, professional service at each stop, supporting Sodexo's mission to improve quality of life for the clients and communities it serves.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles on assigned routes to deliver food, supplies, and equipment to Sodexo client locations
• Load, secure, unload, and stage products using proper lifting techniques and material-handling equipment
• Follow daily route schedules, optimize stops, and communicate delays or issues to supervisors as needed
• Conduct basic pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Verify delivery accuracy, complete logs, and maintain required delivery and mileage documentation
• Follow Sodexo and DOT safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards at all times
• Provide courteous, professional service to clients and site staff, representing Sodexo's values and culture
• Coordinate with warehouse, kitchen, and site teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
