Waste Connections is seeking a safety-focused Container Delivery Driver to support essential waste and recycling services in the Transportation & Warehousing industry. In this role, you'll operate company trucks to deliver, relocate, and pick up containers for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. You'll perform daily inspections, follow DOT and company safety standards, and keep accurate service and route records. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks to deliver and pick up containers for residential, commercial, and industrial customers
- Inspect vehicles and equipment daily, reporting and documenting any maintenance or safety issues
- Secure, load, unload, and position containers following company, DOT, and OSHA safety standards
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and service orders using onboard or handheld routing systems
- Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, weight, and service records and complete required paperwork or electronic logs
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, and customers to resolve service questions or issues
- Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies, including PPE and defensive driving
- Perform basic truck cleaning and minor preventive maintenance checks to ensure equipment readiness
- Support site operations, yard organization, and container staging as directed by supervisors
