Class A Driver

Waste Connections seeks a safety-focused Class A Driver to provide reliable collection and transport of solid waste and recyclables. You'll safely operate Class A equipment, perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections, and follow all DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities include hauling loads between customer sites, transfer stations, and landfills, completing accurate route and disposal documentation, and communicating professionally with dispatch, customers, and site personnel. Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to haul solid waste and recyclables
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required logs
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Transport loads between customer sites, transfer stations, and landfills
• Ensure proper load securement and safe operation on public roadways and sites
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and site staff in a professional manner
• Maintain accurate route, disposal, and scale ticket documentation
• Report vehicle issues, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while meeting service and time standards
• Represent Waste Connections' safety- and community-focused culture on every route

Required Skills

• Class A CDL operation
