Metro Mobility Driver

As a Metro Mobility Driver with Transdev, you'll provide safe, reliable paratransit service for riders who depend on accessible transportation. You will operate lift- or ramp-equipped vehicles, assist passengers with disabilities, and ensure securement and comfort throughout each trip. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, following DOT and company safety standards, keeping accurate logs, and communicating with dispatch. You'll deliver courteous, on-time service that reflects Transdev's commitment to safety, community impact, and people-focused mobility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Metro Mobility vehicles along assigned routes and schedules
• Assist passengers with boarding, securement, and de-boarding, including riders with disabilities
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects
• Follow all safety, traffic, and DOT regulations and Transdev policies
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fare records, and required documentation
• Provide courteous, professional customer service and manage rider inquiries
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedule changes, delays, and incidents
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow incident reporting procedures
