Non-CDL Driver

Transdev North America, a leader in the provision of bus, rail, paratransit, shuttle, and taxi services, is currently seeking a dedicated Non-CDL Driver to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers across various routes. As a Non-CDL Driver, you will operate vehicles in compliance with local regulations, cooperate with co-workers and engage with the public in a courteous and professional manner. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, customer service excellence, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of transit vehicles safely along assigned routes
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing special assistance where necessary
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal operating condition
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the dispatcher or relevant authority
• Adhere to schedules while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor with the public
• Collect fares, issue tickets, and maintain a log of vehicle operations as required
