Unique Services is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Tech to join our customer-focused team serving homeowners across Southwest Florida. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential air conditioning and heat pump systems, ensuring safe, reliable comfort for our customers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance and tune-ups, replacing components, and clearly explaining findings and options to homeowners. You'll work with a safety-first mindset, uphold high workmanship standards, and collaborate closely with dispatch and teammates. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners and heat pumps.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues using proper tools and test equipment.
  • Communicate findings, repair options, and pricing clearly with homeowners.
  • Install or replace components such as motors, capacitors, contactors, coils, and thermostats.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, code, and company quality standards.
  • Document services performed, parts used, and recommendations in work order systems.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, safe, and organized condition.
  • Participate in on-call or after-hours rotations as needed for emergency service.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, sales, and teammates to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
