Paraeducator

Ro Health is seeking a mission-driven Paraeducator to support students in school-based settings across the Healthcare & Social Assistance space. In this role, you'll work alongside nurses, therapists, and educators to provide individualized academic, behavioral, and health-related support to students with diverse needs. You will assist with classroom activities, care routines, data collection, and behavior plans while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with special needs in school settings
• Assist with daily living tasks, mobility, and health-related needs per care plans
• Implement behavior support strategies and IEP/504 accommodations under teacher/clinical direction
• Monitor and document student progress, behaviors, and incidents accurately
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, teachers, and families to coordinate care
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Follow clinical protocols, infection control, and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA/FERPA)
• Respond appropriately to health and behavioral emergencies and escalate as needed
