Sodexo, a global leader in integrated services, is seeking a skilled Locksmith to join our Facilities & Maintenance team within the educational sector. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, security, and functionality of locks, keys, and security systems across various educational institutions managed by Sodexo. The ideal candidate will manage and implement effective key control and lock system solutions, contribute to a secure learning environment, and uphold our commitment to enhancing the well-being and productivity of our educational communities.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain locks and security devices.
• Implement and manage key control systems.
• Consult on security enhancements for existing lock systems.
• Cut and issue keys to authorized personnel.
• Maintain records of locks, combinations, and security devices.
• Coordinate with the security team to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide emergency lockout services and support as needed.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in lock installation and repair
• Strong understanding of key control systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with a variety of locking mechanisms
• Knowledge of electronic security systems is a plus
