Truck Driver CDL A Regional Floater

Ryder System is seeking a reliable Truck Driver CDL A Regional Floater to support our transportation and warehousing operations. In this role, you will run regional routes, flexing across lanes and customers to cover changing operational needs while ensuring safe, on-time deliveries. You will perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and Ryder safety standards, and maintain accurate ELD logs and delivery documentation. As a key face of Ryder to our customers, you will provide professional, customer-focused service and uphold our safety-first, integrity-driven culture while gaining exposure to large-scale logistics operations and opportunities for long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers on regional floater routes across assigned territories.
• Cover multiple routes and customers as needed, adapting to changing schedules and freight types.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and Ryder safety policies, including accurate ELD use and hours-of-service rules.
• Secure freight properly, verify load accuracy, and complete required delivery documentation.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at pickup and delivery locations.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and operations on route status, delays, and equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, well-presented vehicle and support Ryder's safety-first culture.
