Special Education Teacher

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education seeks a Special Education Teacher to deliver individualized, research-based instruction for children and young adults with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will develop and implement IEPs, use data-driven decision-making, and collaborate closely with behavior therapists, related service providers, and families. Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs and goals
• Deliver differentiated instruction using research-based special education strategies
• Assess student progress, collect data, and adjust interventions accordingly
• Collaborate with therapists, behavior analysts, and school staff to coordinate services
• Engage and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Participate in professional development and continuous learning initiatives
