Truck Driver Solo CDL A OTR

Ryder System is seeking a reliable Solo CDL A OTR Truck Driver to support end-to-end transportation solutions for leading brands. In this role, you'll run long-haul routes, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries while following DOT and Ryder safety standards. You'll perform thorough vehicle inspections, secure freight, maintain accurate ELD logs, and communicate with dispatch to optimize routes. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer on OTR routes across assigned regions.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections following DOT and Ryder standards.
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight while maintaining customer service expectations.
• Comply with FMCSA/DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and Ryder safety policies.
• Secure and handle freight properly to prevent damage or loss.
• Accurately maintain ELD logs, trip records, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations teams regarding routes and delays.
• Perform basic vehicle trouble-shooting and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow company procedures for fuel, scales, and tolls to control operating costs.
• Support Ryder's safety-first culture and represent the company professionally on the road.
