Specialized Flatbed Truck Driver

Lone Star Transportation seeks a Specialized Flatbed Truck Driver to haul over-dimensional, heavy-haul, and high-value freight across North America. Based out of Fort Worth, this role focuses on safe, compliant transport, proper load securement, and professional customer service. You'll plan routes, manage permits, and perform thorough inspections while working with a driver-focused team that prioritizes safety, respect, and reliable support. Responsibilities

• Operate specialized flatbed and heavy-haul trucks to safely transport over-dimensional and high-value freight across North America
• Secure, tarp, and inspect loads to meet company and DOT safety standards
• Plan routes for over-dimensional and heavy-haul loads, including permits and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and support teams to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and company policies while representing Lone Star Transportation on the road
• Assist with load checks, equipment setup, and problem-solving for challenging freight moves
