Assistant Store Manager

Mattress Firm is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, lead a small team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you'll help drive mattress and bedding sales, coach associates on consultative selling, and maintain store standards. You will assist with scheduling, inventory, merchandising, and opening/closing procedures while modeling our customer-first culture. Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Lead, coach, and motivate sales associates to meet and exceed sales goals
• Deliver a consultative customer experience focused on sleep solutions
• Maintain merchandising, cleanliness, and showroom presentation standards
• Assist with inventory counts, product placement, and stock accuracy
• Manage scheduling support and ensure adequate coverage during peak times
• Resolve customer issues professionally and escalate when needed
• Track key performance metrics and support action plans to improve results
• Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and safety standards
• Participate in training and development to prepare for future leadership roles
