Flatbed Truck Driver

Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) seeks an experienced Flatbed Truck Driver to haul flatbed and specialized freight across regional and OTR lanes as a 1099 contractor. You will safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer, perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, and secure, tarp, and untarp loads to meet DOT and customer standards. Drivers follow all safety and logging regulations, plan efficient routes, communicate clearly with dispatch, and provide professional, courteous service. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer to haul flatbed and specialized freight safely
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings
• Secure, tarp, and untarp flatbed loads to meet DOT and ATS standards
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety and hours-of-service regulations
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and required trip documentation
• Plan efficient routes and manage schedules to meet delivery appointments
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers on load status
• Protect freight integrity and report issues, delays, or incidents promptly
• Maintain clean, professional equipment and represent ATS respectfully
• Participate in ongoing safety training and follow ATS best practices
