Flatbed Truck Driver

Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) seeks experienced Flatbed Truck Drivers to haul freight across regional and OTR lanes. As a 1099 contractor, you'll safely operate a CDL-A tractor with flatbed trailer, manage load securement and tarping, and comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations. You'll conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, follow trip plans and dispatch directions, and maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery paperwork. ATS supports drivers with strong safety culture, training resources, and consistent freight to help you build a stable, long-term driving career.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A tractor and flatbed trailer for regional and OTR freight hauls
• Secure and tarp flatbed loads following ATS and DOT standards
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Comply with all DOT/FMCSA safety and hours-of-service regulations
• Use ELDs and dispatch systems to manage routes and communication
• Maintain accurate logs, BOLs, and delivery documentation
• Follow trip plans, schedules, and customer delivery requirements
• Report maintenance issues, incidents, and cargo concerns promptly
• Uphold ATS safety culture, professionalism, and customer service
• Participate in ongoing training and safety meetings as required
