The YMCA is seeking a Site Director to lead education and enrichment programs that support youth and families. The Site Director oversees daily site operations, staff supervision, and program quality in alignment with Y standards and state guidelines. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, budgets, and enrollment; building strong relationships with families, schools, and community partners; ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment; and coaching staff for growth. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of an education-focused youth program site.
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate site staff and volunteers.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment aligned with YMCA mission and values.
- Coordinate program schedules, curriculum implementation, and e-learning or academic support activities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with youth, families, schools, and community partners.
- Maintain compliance with state and local regulations, licensing standards, and YMCA policies.
- Oversee health and safety procedures, child supervision practices, and incident reporting.
- Manage enrollment processes, attendance tracking, and family communication.
- Support site-level budget oversight, including supplies, expenses, and basic financial reporting.
- Monitor program quality and outcomes, using data and feedback to improve services.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of site operations and programming.
- Assist with grant-related documentation and reporting as needed by the branch or association.
