Flatbed Truck Driver

Anderson Trucking Service is seeking experienced Flatbed Truck Drivers to haul freight across regional and OTR lanes as 1099 contractors. In this role, you'll safely operate late-model equipment, secure and tarp flatbed loads, and maintain full DOT and FMCSA compliance. You'll perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, manage logs via ELD, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers. ATS supports you with strong safety programs, training, and consistent freight, offering the stability and respect of a family-owned carrier focused on long-term driver success.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A flatbed trucks on regional and OTR routes
• Secure, tarp, and protect flatbed freight per ATS and DOT standards
• Perform accurate pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain FMCSA/DOT compliance and accurate ELD logs
• Follow trip plans, schedules, and HOS requirements
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and shop staff
• Adhere to ATS safety policies and report issues promptly
• Protect company equipment and freight while delivering excellent service
