Flatbed Truck Driver

Anderson Trucking Service is seeking experienced Flatbed Truck Drivers to haul open-deck freight across regional and OTR lanes. As an independent contractor, you'll safely operate and maintain your tractor, handle securement and tarping, and ensure on-time, damage-free delivery. You'll follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations, complete electronic logs, and perform pre/post-trip inspections. ATS provides strong safety support, training, and dispatch backing so you can focus on running efficiently, serving customers, and building a long-term, stable career with a respected, family-owned carrier.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer to haul flatbed freight on regional and OTR routes
• Secure, tarp, and protect open-deck loads in compliance with safety standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA rules
• Plan routes and manage time to ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and shop personnel
• Comply with all company, state, and federal safety regulations and policies
• Care for and manage tractor and equipment to minimize downtime
