Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials over long distances.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure functionality and safety.
• Adhere to all federal and state vehicle requirements by completing necessary paperwork and complying with regulations.
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules, and communicate effectively with dispatch to report any incidents or deviations.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, and promptly report any mechanical problems or maintenance needs.
• Manage loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring that cargo is secured properly compliant with safety guidelines.
