Flatbed Truck Driver

Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) seeks an experienced Flatbed Truck Driver (1099) to haul flatbed freight across regional and OTR lanes. As an independent contractor, you'll safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer, secure and tarp loads, and follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Responsibilities include route and trip planning, accurate logkeeping with ELDs, thorough pre/post-trip inspections, and timely, professional customer service at shippers and receivers. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer to haul flatbed freight safely and efficiently
• Secure, tarp, and protect flatbed loads according to ATS and DOT standards
• Plan routes, manage hours of service, and maintain accurate ELD logs
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and policies
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, shippers, and receivers
• Manage pickup and delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance
• Complete required paperwork, bills of lading, and load documentation
• Care for assigned equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
